Relocate training for Saudi Military personnel from NAS Pensacola to a Safe location outside of the United States
Please order the U.S. Military to start right away to move the training of Saudi military pilots from NAS Pensacola to a safe and suitable country outside of the United States. Please order the U.S. Military to begin the process of relocating all training of non-NATO military personnel from the interior of the United States to other safe and suitable countries. Too many citizens in Pensacola, Florida feel unsafe about foreign military personnel living and working in our community when they come from foreign countries where, for whatever reasons, the predominant way of life seems to encourage instances of radicalization as well as anti-American values and immoral behavior that is contradictory to the American way of life and law.
The patience of the U.S. citizens are running low in Pensacola where the predominant culture is one of peace and tolerance which increasingly appears to be under attack by the ideology of Islam. Because of recent events and past acts of terrorism against U.S. targets where Saudi nationals have played a role, there are many people in Pensacola who will no longer welcome Saudi military personnel living and working in our community and will privately and publicly do whatever they can to peaceably reject these foreign military members in our community.
The ongoing rejection of Saudi military personnel in whatever public and private forms will create an unsafe environment for everyone. In the case of Saudi Arabia we understand and appreciate that they are vital allies in the middle east region and we appreciate their cooperation and would prefer to appreciate it from afar. Considering the additional strain on relations that the recent events at NAS Pensacola has created between the citizens of the U.S. and military personnel from Saudi Arabia (and other similar areas) we respectfully request that the President order the U.S. Military to begin transitioning the training non-NATO military personnel to a location outside of our country as soon as possible and consider asking the Saudi government to pay for the costs of the transition and training. If the Saudi government really wants to show the U.S. people that they care about what happened and help repair relations then they will assist and not complain about the moving the training of their military out of the United States.
Any U.S. citizens in the local area of Pensacola as well as any special interests, politicians, constituents, or the relatives of politicians that may experience any loss of income as a result of the relocation should be able to be compensated by invitation to participate in the lucrative contracts and increases in the costs of training that may result from the move. If the U.S. Military is serious about it’s mission to protect U.S. Citizens they will also agree to take action that is logical. Simply vetting foreign people coming into the U.S. can not prevent radicalization that may occur while they are living in the U.S. and the ongoing monitoring of foreign military personnel working within the United States is not only cost prohibitive but is likely to lead to privacy and civil rights violations of U.S. Citizens.
